Enabling works started at our Trinity Church Hall project last Monday and the place is already looking so much bigger. I just hope the client can fill it.
Walters Architects have just completed a detailed planning application for a residential scheme incorporating 22 houses (including 8 social houses) for a private client in north Leicestershire.
The proposal took a long time to prepare because the application was so detailed and we wanted to give our client the best possible chance of gaining planning approval.
The scheme is on a contentious site and there is a strong possibility that the proposal will go to appeal. We believe this sort of scheme is beneficial to the national housing shortage and will enhance the area immensely.
Our client has been professional, accommodating and a pleasure to work with, we only hope the scheme is approved first time.
I absolutely love this private house in Portugal by Rui cerqueira Barros. I have always liked these colour palettes of natural tones and strong black planes. Macho modern houses, you just have to love them!
Walters Architects have just secured planning permission for another barn conversion in Charnwood, Leicestershire. Our new client had tried to convert the site twice previously using other practices but Walters Architects were the only company to succeed. Now that makes me feel good about the hard work we put into these things.
