Walters Architects have started work on this Barn Conversion, new annex and alterations to a Grade II listed Farm House in Leicestershire.
There will be traditional and contemporary elements with new access and new landscaping.
It is a stunning place and we look forward to being involved in whole project.
Walters Architects are just starting their second building using SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) panels. It is a really interesting processes but can be a little tricky as the building needs to be exact (no whimsical client changes) before the panels can be manufactured.
We will let you know how things progress…stay tuned.
Following on from the previous post, it only seems right to include some of Will Alsop’s better known buildings.
I wasn’t really a fan but I totally agree with his concept of stilts. All new buildings should be elevated to allow for better public space on the ground.
He was an ideas man and we respect that.
It was sad to learn Will Alsop had died last Saturday. His style and approach wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but you could not argue with his ambitious appetite for the fantastic.
It’s brave architects like this that pave the way for new ideas.
He will be missed.
Walters Architects have nearly completed the drawings for this Barn Conversion in Rutland.
It has to have the greatest view we have ever seen and the interior will be massive.
Cant wait to show you the visuals the visuals.
