As part of a Design and Build contract, we were asked by a local specialist contractor to detail a series of entrance canopies for a new build shopping centre in the heart of Leicester.

Three separate entrances were designed in different cladding systems, including copper, lead and zinc, to give distinctive identities to each of the entrances.

The individual designs required a series of detailed solutions to accommodate different structures, sizes, materials and aesthetics.

The project involved working closely on site with the main contractor, structural engineers, sub contractor and the client’s specifically allocated design team to deliver a series of traditionally detailed contemporary canopies.
