Loft Conversion

Our client required additional accommodation in their existing three bedroom Victorian terrace house, and this loft conversion provides a new master bedroom with en suite to the previously redundant space.

The house is situated in a Conservation Area and the Local Authority would only allow the extension to incorporate a new dormer window on the rear elevation so as to maintain the existing character from the front.

Even though the project was small and straight forward this scheme required a detailed Planning Application, Design & Access statement, structural design calculations, a Building Control approval and serving Party Wall notices.
