Eco House

These new build homes have been designed to achieve Code 6 rating of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The timber framed, render finished contemporary designs take full advantage of local materials, high performing thermal mass, photovoltaics, sedum roof, rain water harvesting, bio fuel heating systems and stack ventilation technologies. All these elements combined have been designed to outperform current Building Regulations and achieve a zero carbon rating.

The homes are intended to be of extremely high specification and performance and are estimated to cost approximately 30% more than conventional homes of a similar size. However, they will have much more efficient running costs than would usually be anticipated over the life time of a traditionally built home.
