Bar/Restaurant

This interior design project involved the total refurbishment of an existing bar in a city centre location. The brief involved working to extremely tight deadlines, incorporating innovative lighting/sound systems and increasing occupancy levels.

The overall design concept involved changing the feel of the interior on different evenings by altering the colour and intensity of the lighting. The sound system was linked to the lighting which reacted to different music types and tempos to alter the mood.

This meant all the surfaces of the interior acted as backdrops to the lighting scheme in the evenings while being detailed enough to work as an unlit interior during the day.
