This barn conversion is situated on a local farm with which Walters Architects are already involved. The barn has been redundant for some years and the current design is to convert the existing empty building into a four bed traditional home.
The roof has been raised to accommodate a new first floor which is a galleried area leading to the bedrooms. The ground floor level incorporates an open plan living, kitchen, dining area at ground floor.
Facing the lounge is a large double height oak framed window and doors which lead to a small private garden and court yard. The barn has stables to one side and an old farm house to the other which form the courtyard. Beyond the garden is a paddock and public footpath access to the open countryside.
Walters Architects and their client are all very much looking forward to the building being completed.
