This project was for a two phase scheme which included a new house in the grounds of existing business premises and the refurbishment of existing offices.
The two aspects were treated as separate projects with the new house being completed before the refurbishment works began.
The principle idea was to allow the business to grow into the new accommodation whilst making provisions for the site to be sub divided at a later date, if the business model required it.
This scheme was approved at the first planning application without the need for any resubmissions, new applications or an appeal.
Walters Architects were involved in the whole process from initial scheme design, tender process and contract administration. The clients were delighted with the speed of the delivery and have continued to work with Walters Architects since.
